When you book a Disney vacation package (room/park tickets), you can make a minimal deposit of $200.00 and make payments at your convenience. Final payment is due 45 days prior to your arrival date. (excluding airfare)
Competitive airfare can be booked as part of your Disney vacation package. Airfare requires full payment at the time of booking and may be non refundable. Disney does have competitive airfare!
When booking a Disney vacation package, you have the option of adding on a dining plan. This is highly recommended as it can save you money. It also gives you the peace of mind of having your meals paid for in advance.
You can protect your vacation with vacation insurance. This is also highly recommended. There are more "what-ifs" than just what if you get sick and can't go. Travel Guard vacation insurance is offered through the Walt Disney World Company and children ages 17 and under are at no additional cost when all adults in your party purchase the vacation insurance.
Disney Cruise Line/ Deposit/Payment Information.
A deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Deposit amount will be determined at time of booking. Vacation and cruise packages are subject to cancellation if full deposit is not received in our office within the option period specified at time of booking.
There are a variety of transportation options for you to choose from.
If you find you don't have enough tags, don't panic. When you arrive at the Welcome Center in Orlando, let them know how many bags you have that have the yellow tags on them and how many don't have the tags. You will need your baggage claim ticket you were given at the time you checked in at the airport.
You can have your magical Walt Disney World®Resort vacation memories captured by a Disney's PhotoPass professional photographer and have them available to view and share online without even having to wait in line.
Your picture is taken by a Disney PhotoPass photographer stationed throughout each of the four theme parks. The photographer will give you a Disney's PhotoPass card. This same card can be given to the photographer each time you have a picture taken so all of your pictures can be linked to one convenient, personal online account.
It does not cost you anything to have your picture taken, well, just a big smile for the photographer! I would recommend having as many pictures taken as you can so when you get home to look at them, you'll have a lot of memories to pick from.
When you buy a vacation package which includes airfare, please be sure to ask if the air portion is paid in full. Some companies require airfare to be paid in full, while others don't. If your required down payment is "low," chances are your airfare is not paid in full. Although it's nice to have the lower down payment, keep in mind that until your airfare is ticketed, if airfare increases, most likely your airfare portion of your vacation package will also.
Wheelchair and scooter rental is available at Disney. We also have a reservation partnership with Scooter Vacations.
If you are anticipating an Orlando vacation, especially around the holiday times, you can reserve a scooter from Scooter Vacations in advance. This is highly recommended.
You can cancel your rental and receive a full refund up to 48 hours prior to your arrival and you must call in your cancellation to Scoot Orlando – Scooter Vacations toll free to 1 (866) 778-4748 or for international callers to 1 (407) 705-3705.

It's also fun to look for hidden Mickey's throughout Walt Disney World...a great "down time" activity! A great book for this activity is Hidden Mickey's 3rd Edition: A Field Guide to Walt Disney World's Best Kept Secrets.
What is a hidden Mickey? It's the head and ears silhouette of Mickey Mouse. It consists of a large circle with two smaller circles (in the appropriate places), similar to this picture.
If you go on The Great Movie Ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios, ask your driver to point out the Minnie Mouse silhouette!

An experience from one of my coworkers.
When I travel out of the country, I always call my credit card company and tell them where I am going and when. I don't leave the States that often and I wouldn't want the bank to think someone else is using my card. I always suggest that clients do likewise, just to be on the safe side.
Because of an issue that came up this past weekend when I was returning from a cruise, I am going to add another warning to the "list of hints" I give clients. "ALWAYS TRAVEL WITH MORE THAN ONE CREDIT CARD."
My primary credit card was declined for a $3.00 purchase at a newstand-type store at the airport. I assumed that the bank was having a computer problem and paid with another card. (I always carry several, even though I seldom use most of them.)
When I got home that evening, hubby tells me that the bank called the day before to talk to me about potential fraudulent use of my card. It turns out someone tried to charge a couple hundred dollars in merchandise to my card on some web site, but the bank suspected fraud. I'm not sure if that was because they knew I was on a cruise ship or for some other reason, but that is why my card was declined. When I verified that I had not tried to make that web purchase, they canceled my card (and account number) and arranged to have a new one sent to me.
I called the cruise line the next morning to find out if the payment for my onboard charges had gone through and they said it had. However, if this issue had come up a day or so earlier, the charge might have been denied. I would have been really embarrassed if I didn't have another card with which to pay the balance due.
This sort of problem can occur anyplace, but it might be more problematic if the credit card owner is traveling in a foreign country and suddenly finds himself/herself unable to pay a hotel bill or something. I know some people who only have one credit card and think one card is sufficient, but it can't hurt to have a second one to use as a back-up, just in case.
